Saintly Walk

Walk of a Saint! Today I start a series on our conduct as a Saint [one following Christ].I am using my King James Bible for it’s wisdom. How should we be seen to others? Attentive to the voice of Christ. John 10:3-4King James Version 3  To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4  And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him:  for they know his voice. *Blameless and harmless—Phil.2:14-15 [KJV] 14  Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15  That ye may be blameless and harmless,  the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; *Bold in our Faith— Romans 13:3 and Proverbs 28:1 We are going to Romans 13:3 you can read Proverbs 28:1 from your Bible and underline things that speak to you. Romans 13:2-4 King James Version 2  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of
THE HEART [10] Today Bible study begins with Psalm 112 verse seven which reads: Psalm 112:7King James Version 7  He shall not be afraid of evil tidings:  his heart is fixed , trusting in the Lord. Here we find the writer has a fixed or complete focus on God’s Holy Word. This is a great lesson for us as we go down life’s road; to live by keeping our heart in tune with our Creator.Walking with a trusting heart. In verse eight we read” 8  His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.” Here we see a steadfast heart seeking guidance from God’s word. The last Psalm we look at today is Psalm 119 which has it’s theme of one loving to read God’s word with a honest ,pure, steadfast heart seeking God’s will. You will notice this in the verses I share from this Psalm. verse two reads” 2   Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. ” We move down to verse seven and read: 7  “ I will praise thee with uprightness of

THE HEART [9]

Our study on the heart as recorded in Psalms continues with Psalm 95 where we read this  8  Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:In the wilderness they hardened their hearts and prolonged the judgement for their disobedience. Psalm 95:10King James Version 10  Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:We read this in Psalm 97: 8  Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Lord. 9  For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods. 10  Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. 11  Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. 12  Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. Now turn with me to Psalm Psalm 101Kin

THE HEART [8]

THE  HEART [8] Today we continue our search in Psalms about the condition of man’s heart condition with a relationship with his Creator God. In Psalm 78 verse eight KIng James Version we read 8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God. So the children in this generation turned away from the wisdom of their fathers and rebelled against God. [Rebelling hearts was their heart trouble.] Instead of having a sound relationship with God they had a shaky unsecure one.  Now let us move to verse 18 and see if things are better or worse with their relationship with God . 18 And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.[ Here we find them having tempting lustful hearts wanting a righteous God to feed their wicked ways. In verse we see the same heart condition toward their God was the same rebelling against God and not keeping the covenant  and now go to vers
