Oh, what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bare and Jesus loves me this I know! What great hymns about Jesus! Today we are going to look at a couple more verses that tell us about Jesus.    John 13:1Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.  John 15:13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.   Yes, Jesus loves me for the Bible tells me so!   Luke 22:27For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.    Phil.2:8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.   Let’s thank God for the humility of Christ and the paying of our sin debt in full and forever....

Majesty Snow flakes, snow flakes softly fluttering down, landing so softly, not making a sound. Lightning, lightning brightly coming down, with a crashing noise as it strikes the ground. Tornadoes, tornadoes whirling and twisting, picking up everything with their rushing sound. Rain drops, rain drops bringing moisture to the ground, springing the plants their beauty to abound. Sunshine, sunshine beaming down every hour, shows God’s majesty over nature, created by His awesome power. Salvation, salvation sent down to sinful man, Hope for eternity, because of God’s grace through Jesus, revealing His salvation plan. Praise God, praise God for all things from above, showing His mighty hand, His mercy and everlasting love.

The Bible says, it is more blessed to give than receive! Down through the ages, there have been many great givers, the greatest of them is God Himself. He gave mankind all the wondrous gifts found in creation: the sun, the moon, the stars, the seas and all creatures great and small. In the beginning all was at peace in the garden; then came the devil, then came sin; then came death to all,But the love of God still was there! Because of sin, man was separated from his perfect fellowship with God. God still loved His creation so in order to save it, God, through His wonderful grace sent His Son Jesus, to live on earth, to die on earth and to resurrect from earth returning to God the Father, there interceding for man at this very moment. So from the start of time to the finish of time, God is and forever will be the greatest giver with the greatest gift! Dear soul why not except His greatest Gift of all? Today is sunny, today is quiet and still, as I look over the hill; The hill’s road, leads to the place, a place quiet and still, a place I used to go, go and sit and meditate, on God’s words, words I love so; I loved walking, walking past the beaver ponds, and sit and sing, in the place, where the red pine trees grow. In the last three years, this body has grown old, my feet now move, in a different gear, the gear called slow, no longer can they go, to my favorite place, where the red pine trees grow. REACHING OUT! On this sunny warm day, I got up and opened God’s word, and I asked the Holy Spirit, to guide and direct my thoughts, teach me His truths, and to open my eyes to see the truth. O, Lord guide my steps, to talk the truth with fellow mankind; to walk and to share to fellow mankind; how we may aid them, how we teach them, and how we can be friends, that communicate in love. Then these words, precious words, wonderful words came to mind; words from great hymns like: ” Great is thy Faithfullness”, ” How Great Thou Art”, and ” Amazing Grace”. God is near, as I walk in the forest green, and when I sit by clear waters, and I sense His presence, when I view the white tailed deer. I enjoy His presence in the morning, while walking through a beautiful garden, seeing the lily and the golden daffodil. I know He is with me, while I am walking in a deep valley, or climbing very steep hills. I feel His warmth in the sunshine, and His freshness in the rain, and His gracious hand of mercy, while I am living with my pain. I feel God’s presence, when I read His Holy Word, there He reveals His story, the greatest love story ever heard. When I awake in the morning, I have nothing to fear, I praise God and give thanks, that my Lord is near.~ Winston Staples

THE CLOUDS Our lives are like the clouds, little vapors in the sky, we hang around awhile, then we say goodbye. Our lives are like the clouds, sometimes all fluffy and white, some times we have our trials, like the black clouds at night. Our lives are like the clouds, being driven by the wind, sometimes we are tossed to and fro, as we fall into sin. Our lives are like the clouds, that are controlled by God’s hand, when we put our trust in Him, He will guide us across this land. July 20/26 The other day I went out back in the hard woods and there were deer trails coming and going in all directions. There seemed to be more traffic on one, I think this one led to and fro from their bedding area to their food and drinking area and the others were trails of wandering back and forth. This reminds me of how it is with us humans, we have more trails and time spend in wondering. We are wandering souls searching for something to fill our needs physically and neglect our soul; we need to spend more time travelling on the trail that leads us into God’s word to obtain spiritual food and drink, so lets have a main trail that is evident for others to see. ~Winston Staples

 Today about noon, I went out and sat on my swing, a soft breeze was blowing, out of the North East,  and three bald eagles soared over the mountain, looking for a feast. In the branches near bye, a robin feeds it's babies for lunch,soon they will be, learning to fly and leave their nest; all around me, I hear the birds singing praise to God the Creator. MY OBSERVATIONS! –  May 16, 2026  The wind is blowing, The limbs rush bye, The fluffy white clouds, Look like cotton balls, Sprinkled all over the sky! The May flowers are, Starting to bloom, Along the driveway, The yellow daffodils, Grow on my lawn, Sadly, Soon they will be gone. The robins sing its Spring, its Spring!
