Attitudes

Attitudes Is your attitude a thankful one? Or do you grumble and complain? Is your attitude a serving one? Or when asked to serve, Pass to another's name? Is your attitude a loving one? Or do you put yourself first, In life's game? Is your attitude a prayerful one? Or do you seldom call upon God’s name? Is your attitude one of sharing? Or do you show very little caring? These attitudes are not God’s plan, They are the attitudes of a selfish man! ~Winston Staple

Scripture for Today!

Psalm 119 King James Version 119  Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the  Lord . 2  Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 3  They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. 4  Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. 5  O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! 6  Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. 7  I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. 8  I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. 9  Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 10  With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11  Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. 12  Blessed art thou, O  Lord : teach me thy statutes.

Bible Reading!

Ephesians 1 King James Version 1  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2  Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8  Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9  Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good plea

A MOTHERS DAY!

I think about mothers, how over the years, provide for their children, with joy and with tears. I see mothers, down on their knees, with prayerful hearts, asking for guidance, and provide family needs. I see them standing, over hot steaming pots, preparing good food, and thanking God, for what they got. I see mothers, having a need, they get out the Bible, their King James, they would read, then they would kneel, and they would pray, get up rejoicing, with a song in their heart, and renewed in spirit, their work they would start. ~Winston Staples

Posted on   May 8, 2023   by   wint68,70pluswint Favorite Psalms of mine;over the years of Bible reading and study we claim several favourite verse or chapters as being more inspiring than others, this what keeps me reading and studying God’s words all these years and have them speak according to the Holy Spirits guidance. PRECIOUS DAYS!

Another day has past, and as I get older, the days seem to go fast. What a gorgeous day this is; the baby blue sky with a few, very few fluffy white clouds, floating bye in the sunny sky. The flowers so brightly yellow, starting to be seen everywhere; A pair of morning doves fly bye, and perch in a new bye spruce tree, just a few yards from me. As I scan the horizons, a large eagle , so majestic soars, searching for a super for it's babies; I watch amazed and say to God, Oh how great thou art for these things, but most of all I thank you for saving me! ~Winston Staples

CLOUDS!

THE CLOUDS Our lives are like the clouds, little vapors in the sky, we hang around awhile, then we say goodbye. Our lives are like the clouds, sometimes all fluffy and white, some times we have our trials, like the black clouds at night. Our lives are like the clouds, being driven by the wind, sometimes we are tossed to and fro, as we fall into sin. Our lives are like the clouds, that are controlled by God’s hand, when we put our trust in Him, He will guide us across this land. Our lives are like the clouds, all beautiful and bright, floating around the sun, as it sets at night. Our lives are like the clouds, little vapors in the sky, we hang around awhile, then we say goodbye. ~ Winston Staples

HAND IN HAND!

HAND IN HAND Hand in hand with Jesus, walking down life’s road, sharing every burden, sharing every load. Hand in hand with Jesus, passing life’s test, enjoying His fellowship, being richly blessed. Hand in hand with Jesus, He will safely lead, soothing every heartache, meeting every need. Hand in hand with Jesus, through death’s door we will safely go, to stand around God’s throne, no greater happiness will ever be known. ~ Winston Staples

Psalms for Today!

Psalm 121 King James Version 121  I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2  My help cometh from the  Lord , which made heaven and earth. 3  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4  Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5  The  Lord  is thy keeper: the  Lord  is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6  The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7  The  Lord  shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8  The  Lord  shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

SOME FAVOURITE BIBLE VERSES!

Colossians 3:10-17 King James Version 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lo

A FAVOURITE PSALM!

130  Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O  Lord . 2  Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. 3  If thou,  Lord , shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? 4  But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. 5  I wait for the  Lord , my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. 6  My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. 7  Let Israel hope in the  Lord : for with the  Lord  there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. 8  And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
