Attitudes


Is your attitude a thankful one?

Or do you grumble and complain?

Is your attitude a serving one?

Or when asked to serve,

Pass to another's name?

Is your attitude a loving one?

Or do you put yourself first,

In life's game?

Is your attitude a prayerful one?

Or do you seldom call upon God’s name?

Is your attitude one of sharing?

Or do you show very little caring?

These attitudes are not God’s plan,

They are the attitudes of a selfish man!

The Touch of Fathers Hand!   When I was young and being bad, I thank God for the dad I had, He would not beat me, But he would guide, With words of wisdom, Obtained from God’s word, He kept by his side. Every night I would wait, Watching him come down the hill, Walking from work To enjoy his family, While supper we ate. Dad made sure his family, Went to Church each Sunday, To learn about Jesus, That He was the truth, the Life, And the way, We would sing “Jesus loves me,” And ” This is my Father’s world”. WHEN I AM WEAK!

COMFORT FOR THE WEAK As this old body gets weak And the pain grows great, And I find it hard to pray, As my headaches get worse everyday. I can no longer read God’s word, And meditate on message, That is heard. My friend Ed Sealy, wrote these words, In a song, He sings so well. Titled ” Caught in The Balances” The words go like this: ” Lord I’d love to praise you, But my body’s to weak, I can’t read your Word To hear as you speak, But I have your presence, You promised to me, When I”m caught in the balances, Trusting in Thee.” This is the first verse of the song; I trust you will enjoy it! ~ Winston Staples

Summer is about gone for another year and the scent of Fall is in the air; humming birds will soon leave and the leaves will change color and fall.What does the Bible say about time? Time is spoken about over 700 times but today I am looking in the book of Romans.
