Slow to Anger!

Patience: Patience—n. tolerance, forbearance . Patience is a fruit of the Holy Spirit and should be growing and produced in every Saint. Gal.5:22— long-suffering Romans 15:5—Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: God is the God of patience, it is a characteristic of His divine nature! Isaiah 53:7; Acts.8:32; Matt.27:14.   Isaiah 53:7–He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  Acts.8:32–The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his Shearer, so opened he not his mouth:   Christ is our example for patience and long-suffering. He suffered that terrible death that we may have life; O, what a Savior! Titus 2:2; 2 Peter 1:6—  Titus 2:2–That the aged men be sober, grave, tempe...

Living!

Today we are blessed with another beautiful sunny day,  a great day to say thank you to our Heavenly Father, for all the blessing He bestows on us daily; I know we travel routh roads in life, but just think for each rough spot, we have manny, many, more smooth spots, in our walk if we place our lives, in the hands of Jesus  Galatians 2:20 KJV  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. walk in faith. Eph.2:6-8 KJV. 6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7  That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9  Not of works, lest any man should boast. ~Winston Staples

A Beautiful Morning!

Oh, what a beautiful morning, Oh, what a lovely day, God has sent the sunshine, to drive the darkness away. Oh, what a beautiful morning, Oh, what a lovely day, God sent His Son, our sin debt to pay. Oh, what a beautiful morning, Oh, what a lovely day, Because of God’s salvation, we can sing, and be happy today. ~Winston Staples

Great Quotes!

Image
Esther Kerr Rusthoi wrote about our journey to heaven in her hymn “When We See Christ”: It will be worth it all, when we see Jesus; Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ; One glimpse of His dear face, all sorrow will erase; So bravely run the race, till we see Christ! Today, whether life is ordinary or difficult, keep pressing on. At the end of the journey, you will see the amazing place God has prepared for us. And it will be well worth it! The Ride!

Today I was looking out my window, what a beautiful sunny day. I saw my son’s four wheeler, just sitting there, inviting me to go the old woods road, to where those red pine trees grow. I crabbed my trusty old cane, wobbled a long few steps, to that old machine, and away I did go, to that beautiful place, where the red pine trees grow. The weather has been dry, and there are no mud holes, to go through. The going was slow, over a log or two. On the way back, my front wheel got stuck, and after a moment of rocking to and fro, the wheel broke free, and away I did go. This reminds me of life, and the trials we face, as we get stuck in a rut, as through life we race. When we calm down, and seek help from above, and thank God for His blessings, that are given with love. We find direction and peace, and get unstuck, O, what a wonderful release! ANGELS!

Angels are subject to Christ.   Eph.1:21; Col. 1:16; Col.2:10; 1 Peter 3:22. Col.1:16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  Col.2:10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 1 Peter 3:22Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Angels of Mercy!

Angels of Mercy: Angels of mercy may be any where, they show great love and gentle care; they may be a police person, walking their beat; a mother hearing her child’s prayer or a child helping an elderly person across the street, a doctor or nurse treating a patient with mercy and care; they may be giving the hungry something to eat. Angels of mercy may be anywhere, God’s word says, let us treat everybody fair, we might be entertaining Angels unaware. ~ Winston Staples
