Time!

Image
Time flashes bye,as I watch the squirrels, and hear the blue jay cry.The sun peaks it's face, through the dark clouds,it's beams shine on my place. The sun's face is bright, and very clear;it's getting warmer now, soon the grass and flowers will appear. I thank God,that everyday He is near and He listens to my prayers and comforts me, by sharing His words and His amazing grace. The wind blows gently through the pine and seems to say " stay close my child and you will be okay"! ~Winston Staples

A FAVOURITE PSALM!

Psalm 91 King James Version 91  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2  I will say of the  Lord , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9  Because thou hast made the  Lord , which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11

SUNRISE!

I awakened early this morning to see this beautiful sunrise!

LADDERS!

As I lie here, unable to sleep, I think of many things, and not counting sheep. It amazes me, what comes into my mind, and to others it does not matter, but tonight, I thought about ladders. About man over the years, have used them to gain heights, like those of Babel, reaching up, trying to reach God, and those ladders firemen use, lives and buildings to save. Man and his inventions, reach almost everywhere, on this old sod, but his ladders can not reach Heaven, and the presence of God. God provided a ladder, one that came down, so we could go up. That ladder was Jesus, God's only Son. He came to us, as a little humble babe,  and after 33 years, He gave up His life, baring our sins, and through Him, we can climb to Heaven, because we are saved.

The Touch of My Fathers Hand!

Image
The Touch of Fathers Hand!   When I was young and being bad, I thank God for the dad I had, He would not beat me, But he would guide, With words of wisdom, Obtained from God’s word, He kept by his side. Every night I would wait, Watching him come down the hill, Walking from work To enjoy his family, While supper we ate. Dad made sure his family, Went to Church each Sunday, To learn about Jesus, That He was the truth, the Life, And the way, We would sing “Jesus loves me,” And ” This is my Father’s world”. I thank God, For my father, And his leading me, To know the Master, And a home with Jesus, For Eternity. Thank you dad, And thank you Heavenly Father, For loving me, And loving others, for Eternity! ~Winston Staples

Psalm 135.

Psalm 135 King James Version 135  Praise ye the  Lord . Praise ye the name of the  Lord ; praise him, O ye servants of the  Lord . 2  Ye that stand in the house of the  Lord , in the courts of the house of our God. 3  Praise the  Lord ; for the  Lord  is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant. 4  For the  Lord  hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure. 5  For I know that the  Lord  is great, and that our Lord is above all gods. 6  Whatsoever the  Lord  pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places. 7  He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries. 8  Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast. 9  Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants. 10  Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings; 11  Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and al
Special Morning! March 21, 2023  I woke up blurry eyed, I saw a beautiful sunny morning, as I looked outside; a special morning to kneel, on our knees and pray. I thank Him for His Salvation; I thank Him for His Holy Spirit, that guides us through our day. The snow is beginning to melt, soon the green grass will grow; God will send the song birds, to sing for you and me. O, how I love to hear, the robins sing, cheer up,cheer up, wake up and enjoy spring. So let's rejoice in God's Salvation plan, through His Son's finished work, as He hanged on the tree; baring yours and my sin. Yes, we are washed clean, by the precious blood of Jesus, God's only begotten Son. By believing in Christ's death, burial and resurrection; We have life for eternity, O, what a VICTORY! ~Winston Staples

WALK TO REMEMBER!

The Walk of Remembrance I walked into the woods that day, wondering what I might see, I just got over the knoll and I saw ten white tailed deer in a small cedar grove; They had their ears standing straight trying to figure out what I might be. In an old maple tree a woodpecker tapped a tune for me; There were two crows perched on a high branch keeping a watch on me. Caw, caw, caw, they proclaimed as they fly away. Off to my right a Nuthatch crept upside down, showing off for the woodpecker and chick -a- dees. Over my head a large hawk was soaring in circles, it’s keen eyes searching below to see something for lunch. As I watch nature’s beauty my mind travels back to the book of Genesis where God spoke all these things into being, except mankind, mankind was moulded by God’s hands from the dust on the ground and God breathed life into man. I stood in awe of all these beautiful things around me that God made for us to enjoy, then I bent down and gave thanks unto God the Creator. God love

MY SONG!

O Lord I sing my song to thank you; I sing my song to praise you, I sing to thank you,  for your salvation plan,  available to those who ask, woman, children and man. I sing that in Jesus's name, Eternal life they may claim; I sing my song for giving joy, and giving me rest. I sing to say I thank you, for giving me happiness, knowing that through you, I am richly blessed. I sing to say thank you, for family and friends, in them I am happily blessed. I sing "O God how great Thou art"; I sing to say I love You, for giving me my new heart! ~Winston Staples
