The Heart!

Today’s scripture readings about the heart, found in the Book of Psalms begins with Psalm 22 verse 14 “I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax, it is melted in the midst of my bowels. Did you ever feel like your heart is like wax of a candle with it’s wax so soft it runs all over the place? It is very important as believers we keep our heart in tune with Christ by reading His words, praying and trusting His Grace! The next reading is Psalm 22 verse 26/
“The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.“

Let’s flip over to chapter 25 verse 17.”The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.In chapter 27 verse 8 we read:
“When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.” And the final scripture for today is found in chapter 27 verse 17. “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”

WHEN I AM WEAK!

COMFORT FOR THE WEAK As this old body gets weak And the pain grows great, And I find it hard to pray, As my headaches get worse everyday. I can no longer read God’s word, And meditate on message, That is heard. My friend Ed Sealy, wrote these words, In a song, He sings so well. Summer is about gone for another year and the scent of Fall is in the air; humming birds will soon leave and the leaves will change color and fall.What does the Bible say about time?
