POEM [ONE MINUTE ]

 ONE MINUTE

I HAVE ONLY JUST A MINUTE,

ONLY SIXTY SECONDS IN IT,

FORCED UPON ME, CAN'T REFUSE IT,

DIDN'T SEEK IT, DIDN'T CHOOSE IT,

BUT IT'S UP TO ME TO USE IT.

I MUST SUFFER IF I LOSE IT,

GIVE ACCOUNT IF I ABUSE IT.

IT IS ONLY JUST A MINUTE,

BUT ETERNITY IS IN IT.

The Touch of Fathers Hand!   When I was young and being bad, I thank God for the dad I had, He would not beat me, But he would guide, With words of wisdom, Obtained from God’s word, He kept by his side. Every night I would wait, Watching him come down the hill, Walking from work To enjoy his family, While supper we ate. Dad made sure his family, Went to Church each Sunday, To learn about Jesus, That He was the truth, the Life, And the way, We would sing “Jesus loves me,” And ” This is my Father’s world”. I thank God, For my father, And his leading me, To know the Master, And a home with Jesus, For Eternity. Saintly Walk

Walk of a Saint! Today I start a series on our conduct as a Saint [one following Christ].I am using my King James Bible for it’s wisdom. How should we be seen to others? Attentive to the voice of Christ. LIFE GOES ON!

LIFE GOES ON! Sitting on my old lawn chair, looking all around me, and into the air. I hear a sweet sound, music to my ear; The sound of a robin’s song, which seemed to say, cheer up, cheer up, my friend; God has given us a beautiful day! Now, I take time to thank Him, and praise Him for each sound, and each smell and beauty, I behold as I look all around. My dear friends take a moment, and close your eyes and pray giving Your thanks and praise everyday! Across the road my neighbour swings, back and forth, back and forth she glides; much like worldly folk, they go back and forth not knowing, where they will end; not knowing they need a saviour, and Jesus is His name. Jesus came from Heaven to save the lost; His salvation is free for all that believe, He died on a cross, He was buried, He arose, and He is coming again. Thank you Lord for saving souls; Thank you Lord for loving us, and Thank you for guiding us, by Your Holy Spirit, and all this because of Your Grace, and not our merit. S...
