VICTORY!

Victory

Early in the morning,

while still in a gloom,

Mary made her way,

to visit her Master's tomb.

It seemed like a short moment,

since she saw her Master die,

now she was going to His grave,

special ointments to His body apply.

While walking and wondering,

the earth began to shake,

startled for a moment,

then an angel spake;

He is not here, He is risen,

run to the others ,

this good news to them take.

Yes, our Lord has risen,

Victorious over sin and grave;

We too can be victorious,

when we receive Salvation,

His gift He freely gave!
