Today's Psalm!

Psalm 5 King James Version 5  Give ear to my words, O  Lord , consider my meditation. 2  Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. 3  My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O  Lord ; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. 4  For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. 5  The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. 6  Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the  Lord  will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. 7  But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. 8  Lead me, O  Lord , in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. 9  For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; the...

Today's Psalm!

Hi my dear friends! This morning I read this Psalm and now I want you to be blessed and read it too: Psalm 4 King James Version 4 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. 2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. 3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. 6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. 7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. 8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Scripture Reading for Today!

Ephesians 4:20-32 King James Version 20  But ye have not so learned Christ; 21  If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22  That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26  Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27  Neither give place to the devil. 28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto t...

Meekness [2]

Meekness continued:  Zephaniah 2:3— All of God’s children should be seeking meekness!   Col.2:12-23— Being saved from our sin by the finished work of Jesus on the cross we are new creatures with new desires and are set apart to become like Jesus and one of those characteristics is meekness.   James 3:13; Titus 3:2– Titus 3:2 (King James Version)   2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.   “ But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience,  meekness  (1 Timothy 6:11). ” Galatians 6:1 (King James Version) Galatians 6 1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.   When restoring the erring do so in meekness!    1 Peter 3:4 tells us that  meekness is precious in the sight of God! Servants for...

SPENDING TIME TOGETHER!

I went for a walk today, In the forest to pray, and talk with Jesus; as we went our way. We talked and sang, praises to our Heavenly, yes, Heavenly Father, and we were richly blessed. I heard a robin sing, along our way, cheer up, cheer up, from a cedar grove near bye; this wonderful day, with few clouds in the sky. As I walked I felt the spirit say; my son this is a good place, a good place to kneel and pray; for the poor, broken hearted, and the very ill to be blessed, by the one who owns, the cattle on a thousand hill, and gives us the beauty to enjoy, from the red roses and golden daffodils. So no matter day or night, talk with God He will make things right! ~Winston Staples

MEEKNESS!

Meekness—- humbleness, tameness, extreme submission. Christ set an example of meekness.  Psalm 45:4; Isa.53:7; Matt.11:29; 21:5; 2 Cor.10:1; 1 Peter2:21-23.       He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. [ Isaiah 53:7 ] IN HIS TEACHINGS— Matt.5:38-45. Meekness is a fruit of the spirit. Gal.5:22-23— Galatians 5:22-23 (King James Version)   22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
