Bible Reading for today!

Colossians 3:10-17 King James Version 10  And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11  Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12  Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13  Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14  And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17  And whatsoever ye ...

LITTLE VESSELS!

Little Vessels We are little vessels, Created by God’s hand, Put here a little while, To walk in this land. We are little vessels, Broken and marred by sin, God knows our every weakness, He wants to mold us from within. We are little vessels, Who need saved from sin, And by submitting to God our potter, Salvation will begin. We are little vessels, Saved from sin and shame, Jesus gives us victory, Because He lives again. We are little vessels, Being molded by His spirit, Because of His love and grace, And not by our merit. We are little vessels, Being shaped, As He would have us be, Perfect in His sight, When the face of Jesus we see. ~Winston Staples

MY SONG!

Today I found this writing, In a book I was writing a few years ago, titled " My Song". My Song: Oh, Lord, I sing my song, A thankful song, To praise you, For your creation, For your grace, Giving salvation, And doing things, That no other being can do. I sing because of my joy, I sing  because of your peace, I sing praising you for sweet rest. I sing praising you,  When I am happy, I sing when I am stressed, I sing, "Oh God how great thou art". I sing to praise you, I sing to thank you, I sing because I am richly blessed! ~Winston Staples

Surrounded by Angels

SURROUNDED BY ANGELS As sometimes we feel alone Remember we are surrounded by angels, like those around God’s throne. When we feel helpless, We are surrounded by angels, God has sent to bless. When we need a message from a gospel tune, We are surrounded by angels in our room, and when we need encouragement remember, we are surrounded by angels, Glorious Angels God has sent. Yes, when we feel gloom, Don’t forget, We are surrounded by angels, surrounded by angels in our room. ~WINSTON STAPLES

Christmas on the creek

CHRISTMAS ON THE CREEK! I am remembering the days, yes, special days of youth, those Christmas days, when all the young men, would get together to play, play hockey on the creek. They came from both sides, North and South; there was Gerald, Frank, Wayne, two different Dons, Wid, Minard, Ronald,Gerald McLean,Eldon, my brother Lowell and I; We played all day and made memories, some good and some sad; we laughed, shared jokes, got mad, but all were glad, we had spent another, Christmas Day on the creek! ~Winston Staples
As I look, at the rushing brook, I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”. As I look, at the forest green, I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”. As I look, at the mighty pines, I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”. As I look, at the majestic hills, I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”. As I look,at the everlasting skies, I sing ” GLORY TO HIS NAME”. ~Winston Staples
