Precious Time!

It has been a long pain filled night, And soon it will be dawn, The birds will sing their songs. I will take my Holy Bible, My favourite version the King James, Turn the pages to John chapter three, Then to Psalm One twenty- one, And finally to Psalm Twenty- three; These passages of Scripture, Mean so much to me. I have a little talk with Jesus, I thank Him for His Eternal Love, And His Amazing Grace, As I bow before Him on humble knees, And tears running down my face! ~Winston Staples

Mind Walking!

I went for a walk today, in my mind you might say, to a quiet place I used to go, out back,  where the red pine trees grow. I sat by the babbling brook, flowing from the beaver dam, meditating on God's words, thanking Him and praising Him, for creating me the way I am. One whom He died for, on the cross at Calvary, and arise the third day, so yours and my soul, could be set free. ~Winston Staples

Today's Psalm!

Psalm 5 King James Version 5  Give ear to my words, O  Lord , consider my meditation. 2  Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. 3  My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O  Lord ; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. 4  For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. 5  The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. 6  Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the  Lord  will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. 7  But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. 8  Lead me, O  Lord , in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. 9  For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; the...

Today's Psalm!

Hi my dear friends! This morning I read this Psalm and now I want you to be blessed and read it too: Psalm 4 King James Version 4 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. 2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. 3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. 6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. 7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. 8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Scripture Reading for Today!

Ephesians 4:20-32 King James Version 20  But ye have not so learned Christ; 21  If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22  That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26  Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27  Neither give place to the devil. 28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto t...
