Meekness [2]

Meekness continued:  Zephaniah 2:3— All of God’s children should be seeking meekness!   Col.2:12-23— Being saved from our sin by the finished work of Jesus on the cross we are new creatures with new desires and are set apart to become like Jesus and one of those characteristics is meekness.   James 3:13; Titus 3:2– Titus 3:2 (King James Version)   2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.   “ But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience,  meekness  (1 Timothy 6:11). ” Galatians 6:1 (King James Version) Galatians 6 1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.   When restoring the erring do so in meekness!    1 Peter 3:4 tells us that  meekness is precious in the sight of God! SPENDING TIME TOGETHER!

I went for a walk today, In the forest to pray, and talk with Jesus; as we went our way. We talked and sang, praises to our Heavenly, yes, Heavenly Father, and we were richly blessed. I heard a robin sing, along our way, cheer up, cheer up, from a cedar grove near bye; this wonderful day, with few clouds in the sky. As I walked I felt the spirit say; my son this is a good place, a good place to kneel and pray; for the poor, broken hearted, and the very ill to be blessed, by the one who owns, the cattle on a thousand hill, and gives us the beauty to enjoy, from the red roses and golden daffodils. So no matter day or night, talk with God He will make things right! ~Winston Staples

MEEKNESS!

Meekness—- humbleness, tameness, extreme submission. Christ set an example of meekness.  Psalm 45:4; Isa.53:7; Matt.11:29; 21:5; 2 Cor.10:1; 1 Peter2:21-23.       He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. [ Isaiah 53:7 ] IN HIS TEACHINGS— Matt.5:38-45. Meekness is a fruit of the spirit. Gal.5:22-23— Galatians 5:22-23 (King James Version)   22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Scripture For This Day!

Hello my friends! Today I share one of my favourite Psalms with you hoping it will bless you as you read! P salm 2 King James Version 2  Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the  Lord , and against his anointed, saying, 3  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the  Lord  shall have them in derision. 5  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7  I will declare the decree: the  Lord  hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt das...

Beyond The Cross!

Image
BEYOND THE CROSS Jesus takes us beyond the cross, around God’s throne to be, singing praises to our King, for eternity. Jesus takes us beyond the cross, for in God’s word, I am told, He became our Savior, so we could walk, the streets of gold. Jesus takes us beyond the cross, to dwell with our Heavenly Father there, He will wipe away our tears, there will be no pain, no sorrow,no care. Jesus takes us beyond the cross, because of His love and grace, so will you put your faith in Him? and dwell with Him in this wonderful place.

Day Break!

DAY BREAK What a beautiful morning, the sun is shining bright, it makes my heart sing, as it removes the darkness, and reveals it’s marvelous light. The bright reflection on the water, shines so brightly in my eyes, and in the pines, a lonesome dove, makes it’s lonely cry, but off to the right, I hear a robin sing, cheer up, cheer up, it is spring! ~ Winston Staples

IN HIS PRESENCE!

You can talk to Jesus, beside your bed in the morn; A farmer can talk with Jesus, while planting his corn. You can ask Him, for the guidance of His Spirit, as the day passes bye; A mother can talk with Jesus, as she soothes her child's cry. You can talk with Jesus, in the forest by a cool running stream, or at midnight before you sleep, and have your sweet dreams; You can tell Jesus, your troubles and cares, as you drive to town. You can talk with Jesus, saying thank you for your message, both in your word and in song. So my brother and sister, cast on Him every care, as we travel along, knowing Jesus hears,  and answers prayer, because Jesus is with us, anytime and anywhere! ~Winston Staples
