Day Break!

DAY BREAK What a beautiful morning, the sun is shining bright, it makes my heart sing, as it removes the darkness, and reveals it’s marvelous light. The bright reflection on the water, shines so brightly in my eyes, and in the pines, a lonesome dove, makes it’s lonely cry, but off to the right, I hear a robin sing, cheer up, cheer up, it is spring! ~ Winston Staples

IN HIS PRESENCE!

You can talk to Jesus, beside your bed in the morn; A farmer can talk with Jesus, while planting his corn. You can ask Him, for the guidance of His Spirit, as the day passes bye; A mother can talk with Jesus, as she soothes her child's cry. You can talk with Jesus, in the forest by a cool running stream, or at midnight before you sleep, and have your sweet dreams; You can tell Jesus, your troubles and cares, as you drive to town. You can talk with Jesus, saying thank you for your message, both in your word and in song. So my brother and sister, cast on Him every care, as we travel along, knowing Jesus hears,  and answers prayer, because Jesus is with us, anytime and anywhere! ~Winston Staples
Favourite Bible Verses! Romans 5:8-20 Hi my friends! Today I am sharing more verses from the letter Paul wrote to the church at Rome; today from chapter five. 8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11  And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13  (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14  Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgre...

Todays Bible Reading!

Romans 4:1-10 King James Version 4  What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2  For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3  For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4  Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5  But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6  Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7  Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8  Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 9  Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10  How was it then...

Three Trees!

THREE TREES One morning, The air was crisp and still, I saw on the horizon, Three trees standing on a hill. The two trees on the sides, Shorter than the center one; How they stood out, In the rising sun. A refuge for the birds, In the time of storms, A nesting place, So peaceful and warm. Seeing these trees, So majestic standing in a row, Took my mind back, Two thousand years or so, To a place called Calvary, Where three wooden crosses, Stood out plainly in a row. On the outside crosses, Hung two guilty thieves, On the center cross, Hung the only Son of God; He was dying for you and me. Jesus, was bearing our sins, So we could be set free. ~ Winston Staples

A Wonderful March Day!

A WONDERFUL MARCH DAY!  Today is a wonderful March day, and Winter is slipping away, the snow flakes are fluttering, slowly, softly touching the ground. I am going through the fall, Autumn stage of life, and it is a lonely, sad part of my life, aided some by the passing of my wife; We spent most of our lives together, with a love faithful and true, and blessed by our God, with a wonderful family too! Yes, life had it’s strife, thorns and stones hindered a perfect life; but I say alleluia, because, each day, I am guided by the Holy Spirit, since that day in 1958, when Jesus saved my soul; so whether I die or raptured, I will pass through those pearly gates, and walk the streets of gold, it will be like Spring, along the rivers shore, the roses will bloom forever, in God’s Eternal garden forevermore! ~Winston Staples

Thanksgiving

THANKSGIVING On our calendar, Thanksgiving comes once a year, but in my heart, it is always here. In the morning, I thank God for the things I see; all the beauty He gives to me. I thank Him for each sound I hear, the rustling leaves, the bleating deer. I thank Him for the roof over my head, and my warm cozy bed; I thank Him for each scent I smell, some beckoning my stomach to fill. I thank God for the things I touch, being able to feel means so much; I thank Him for my family, each one, so special to me. I know now what I am trying to say, thank God for everything, every day. On our calendar, Thanksgiving comes once a year, but in my heart, it is always here. ~ Winston Staples
